THE PRIVATE PILOT · NOVEMBER 4, 2026

Relationships need boundaries.

fr-end is a NodeRunner ecosystem application built on NodeVertex. This initial adult pilot is available to existing enabled accounts. Use pilot material while the product and its policies are being developed.

What we store

We use your existing account identity and organization access. We store the Circles you create, membership changes, text messages, email-bound invitations, and private relationship descriptions you choose to enter. Descriptions and notes are available to their author through fr-end; they are not shown to the people described or other Circle members.

Who sees what

Circle members can read messages created after their current membership began. Hosts can manage invitations and remove members. A removed member loses subsequent server access through fr-end; this cannot erase copies they previously received. Joining a Circle does not provide access to other Circles. The first pilot supports sharing within the same enabled organization.

Service access and encryption

Connections use HTTPS. Information is stored in NodeRunner's managed platform. This release does not provide end-to-end encryption. Authorized operators may access stored information for service operations, support, and abuse investigation. Do not use the pilot for highly sensitive information.

Cookies and service logs

We use essential sign-in and request-protection cookies. Sessions expire after eight hours. The app does not add advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Cloudflare and the hosting platform process network and operational information needed to deliver and protect the service. Invitation secrets stay in URL fragments and are stored as hashes; share original links privately.

Your choices

You can edit your private descriptions, leave a Circle where you are not the host, and export your accessible information from Settings. Hosts can remove members and revoke unused invitation links. For deletion, abuse reports, account access, or other privacy questions, contact your pilot organization administrator. Automated deletion and self-service reporting are not implemented yet.

Retention during the pilot

Circle messages, membership history, and private descriptions are retained until an operator processes an applicable removal request or the pilot is retired. Backups may retain previous copies for the platform's operational retention period. This pilot does not promise immediate removal from backups. Other members' shared records may remain when an account is removed.

Before broader release

Public signup, support handling, retention periods, reporting, blocking, and additional security controls must be completed and reviewed before a broader launch. We will update this page as the service changes.
